The flight to Paro crosses the Himalayan Mountains, affording spectacular views of the awesome peaks, including the sacred Jomolhari and Jichu Drake peaks in Bhutan, after the completion of check in formalities in airport. Guide and driver will escort to Thimphu. Depending on the time, the sightseeing includes - Folk Heritage museum, School of Art and crafts and Tashicho Dzong. Overnight in hotel.
Paro to Thimphu driving distance - 55 kms, Time - 1.2 hrs.

The Bumthang sightseeing includes- Jakhar Dzong, 7th century Jambay Lhagang, Kurji monastery, Tamshing monastery, Swiss farm.

Start early, The trip crosses two passes and takes in numerous sherif what is the one of the most spectacular drives in the country, with the changes in vegetation and landscape, the journey crosses Ura villages, Thrumshingla pass (3750m) Sengor valley and Kurizampa.

Bumthang to Mongar - 197kms; Tme 7 hrs.
Mongar altitude - 1600m
Tashigang is the heart of Eastern Bhutan and once the important trade route with Tibet, there are several monasteries but lots of driving is required to reach the remote locations.
The drive will crosses over Korila pass ( 2400m) Yadi village, Naktsang village. Visit Tashigang Dzong. Overnight in hotel.
Distance - 91kms, Time - 3 hrs.
Altitude - 1100m (ASL)
Drive to Tashiyangtse take 2 to 3 hrs with sightseeing along the way. It is 54kms drive but you need time in visiting GomKora. Visit school of Art and Craft ( Same like one in Thimphu), ChortenKora and new tashiyangtse Dzong. On the way back to Tashigang, visit old and ancient Tashiyangtse dzong. Overnight in same hotel.
All the same route back to Mongar and visit Mongar Dzong and Mongar town.

Morning drive to Paro. In Paro visit - Iron chain bridge, National museum, Rimpong Dzong, Wooden cantilever bridge and stroll in local market at leisure.
Punakha to Paro - 115kms, Time - 3.5 hrs.
Taktsang the tiger nest monastery is the most iconic and sacred Buddhist site in the World. It is dramatically perched on sheer cliff face, about 900 m above the Paro valley. It is one of the most beautiful hiking trail for its pristine forest and views.
Hiking distance ( round trip) approximately 6kms/3.7miles. Time 5 to 6 hrs including guided tour in monastery.
After hike, visit Drukgyel Dzong, 7th century temple, local market. Suggestion- hot stone bath in village.
